Explore Thailand :: Unique opportunity for visitors to buy creative Thai products as gifts for mothers

Visitors to Thailand in August will get a unique opportunity to buy some of the country’s most creative, indigenously-made products specially designed to be used as gifts for all mothers everywhere.

In addition to the consumer sales areas, the “Gifts for Moms” Fair had a strong trade platform to provide advice on business development and upgrading of product quality/standard by the Ministry of Industry, business matching by the Ministry of Commerce, and provision of loans and advice on developing business plans by the SME Bank. The “Creative Industry: Gifts for Moms” Fair has held daily on 3- 23 August, 2015 between 10:00 – 19:00 hrs. at the Khlong Padung Krung Kasem Market. It is being organised to commemorate the 12 August birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, an event which is celebrated annually as National Mother’s Day. Her Majesty will turn 83 this year.

The Fair is being organised by the Ministry of Industry in collaboration with Ministry of Culture and the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority. The Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha presided at the opening ceremony on 3 August, 2015.
