Explore Thailand :: Understanding why Thailand is so appealing to tourists

24/08/2015

Tourist numbers are increasing rapidly with the frequency of attractive air fare offers but this is not the sole reason. I have just been to Thailand to discover why the country has so much appeal.

The Thai climate is a big draw for those going through a cold UK winter. November through February is probably the best time of the year in Thailand. The thought of lounging on a long sandy beach, enjoying the excitement of Bangkok, or exploring the rugged mountains and hill-tribe traditional culture in the north can be difficult to resist.

Once you are in Thailand you quickly realise that the uniqueness of the food, architecture, language, customs and religion stimulate the senses and ensure that you will have new experiences that will provide lifetime memories. That perhaps is why such a high proportion of visitors to Thailand are repeat visitors – coming back for more.
