The Thai and Japanese Ministries of Foreign Affairs will co-host the fourth Green Mekong Forum in Bangkok on June 13, 2016.

The meeting will be held as part of the Mekong-Japan cooperation for sustainable development and economic development and challenges between Japan and Mekong region countries, namely Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. 

The fourth Green Mekong Forum will be held under the theme: “Quality Infrastructure” and “Water Management” with speakers from the government, international and local agencies. It will also be an important platform to exchange opinion regarding environmental issues and challenges with respect to the ''Decade toward the Green Mekong Initiative'' originally endorsed in 2009.
