Gross Domestic Product Q4 / 2014 of Thailand, released by Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board of Thailand, expanded 2.3%, accelerating from an increase of 0.6% in the third quarter, as a result of rising demand in both domestic and external sectors.  As a result, GDP in 2014 increased by 0.7%, compared to a rise of 2.9% in 2013. The expansion of the GDP this quarter was due to an upturn of the non-agricultural sector whereas the agricultural sector contracted. Both domestic and external demand improved. Total investment increased 3.2%, compared with an increase of 2.9% in the third quarter, as a result of 4.1% upturn in private investment. View full story at NESDB.go.th
