Deputy Prime Minister MR Pridiyathorn Devakula is optimistic that Thailand's export should pick up in the second quarter as well as other economic indicators.
As part of the government’s 6-month performance report, he said household spending has been improving while more government investment projects have been awarded.
He said that despite the 4 per cent contraction of export during January and March, Thailand should register the economic growth of 3 per cent or more in the first quarter, thanks to an increase in tourism revenue.Credit and view full story at The Nation
