Thailand in Focus :: Thai Market Draws Another Positive Lead

The Thai stock market turned higher again on Wednesday, one session after it had ended the four-day winning streak in which it had climbed almost 35 points or 2.3 percent. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now rests just above the 1,500-point plateau, and the market figures to open higher again on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is firm, thanks to upbeat news out of Greece - while bargain hunting for some of the oversold bourses also may play a role. The European and U.S. markets were up, and the Asian markets are expected to follow suit.
