The Greater Mekong Sub-Region (GMS) offers a lot of potential for investors and Thailand is seen as a gateway to the opportunities in the region.
In 2014, Thailand's combined exports to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) hit US$21 billion, translating to a 13.7 per cent annual growth since 2010, he said in his opening speech at the Invest ASEAN Thailand Conference here Monday.
Thailand has also been increasing its investment in the region and last year, its net foreign direct investment into CLMV reached US$7 billion, an average annual growth of 33 per cent since 2007, he said.
