Thailand in Focus :: Foreign Minister attending ACMECS to promote regional cooperation

Foreign Minister General Thanasak Patimapakorn has attended the 6th Ayeyawady – Chao Phraya – Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) in Myanmar to promote regional bilateral relations.
Representatives of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar also participated in the event, during which the Thai Foreign Minister told the ACMECS members that Thailand was determined to promote cooperation in 4 major areas.
The cooperation included developing transportation link among member nations, accommodating foreign investments, boosting regional tourism, and promoting sustainable development in terms of disease control, public health, food security and human resource.
