Thailand in Focus :: Thai Car, Truck Aug Exports Up 13.8 Pct To 101,982 Units

Thailand's car and truck exports in August rose by 13.88 per cent year-on-year (yoy) to 101,982 units.
Value-wise, they soared by 23.44 per cent to 52.859 billion baht (100 baht = RM12.86), said Deputy Chairman of the Automotive Industry Club of Federation of Thai Industries, Surapong Paisitpatanapong.
"The increase in exports, both in terms of volume and value, was due to the increasing number of new models of pick-up trucks and eco-cars," he told a monthly press conference here today.Credit and view full story at Bernama
