At the conference specially organized by the CzechTrade, "India and Thailand - Strategy of Successful Export", which was held on 15 September at the MSV Fair 2015 in Brno, Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic started the session about Thailand by delivering a comprehensive remarks on the trade cooperation between Thailand and the CR and its prospect.
Thai Ambassador indicated a large number of new opportunities in Thailand for the Czech businesses, especially in the area of automotive and parts, machinery and parts, healthcare and medical tourism, and food processing. Thailand possesses a long history of being a trading nation with a firm and stable economic policy, as well as experiences in cooperating with foreign enterprises and investors for decades. Thailand has an efficient infrastructure network and its prime location at the heart of Southeast Asia also connects it widely to not only the ASEAN community, with more than 625 million population, including the growing Greater Mekong Subregion, but also the Southern part of China. Moreover, the business environment and situation in Thailand are also safe and friendly for foreign enterprises.
Thai Ambassador also mentioned about some beneficial factors that would create room for the greater demands of goods and materials in Thailand and new opportunities for Czech products, for example, 4 billion USD economic stimulus package which was recently adopted by the Government aiming at expanding the infrastructure network and the urbanization trends in the neighboring countries of Thailand.
Following the remarks of Thai Ambassador was the presentation of Mr. Jan Lembas, the Representative of CzechTrade in Bangkok, which included extensive data on the macroeconomic of Thailand and potential business spheres for Czech business in Thailand.
เอกอัครราชทูตไทยชี้โอกาสใหม่ของธุรกิจเช็กในไทย
นายณรงค์ ศศิธร เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสาธารณรัฐเช็ก ได้เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงานสัมมนาในส่วนของไทยในหัวข้อ "India and Thailand - Strategy of Successful Export" ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยหน่วยงานส่งเสริมการค้า CzechTrade เมื่อวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2558 ภายในงานแสดงสินค้าวิศวกรรมเครื่องจักรกล MSV Fair 2015 ที่เมือง Brno โดยได้กล่าวถึงความร่วมมือด้านการค้าระหว่างไทยกับเช็กและแนวโน้มในอนาคต
เอกอัครราชทูตไทยได้ชี้ให้เห็นถึงโอกาสใหม่ๆ ของธุรกิจเช็กในไทย โดยเฉพาะสาขาที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ รถยนต์และส่วนประกอบ เครื่องจักรกลและส่วนประกอบ ธุรกิจการดูแลสุขภาพ โรงพยาบาล และการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพ และการแปรรูปอาหาร ประเทศไทยเป็นชาติที่ทำการค้าขายกับต่างชาติมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน มีนโยบายเศรษฐกิจที่มั่นคงและต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงมีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานร่วมกับธุรกิจต่างชาติมานานหลายทศวรรษ ไทยยังมีเครือข่ายโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่มีประสิทธิภาพ และที่ตั้งซึ่งอยู่ตรงจุดศูนย์กลางของภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ทำให้ไทยไม่เพียงแต่จะเชื่อมโยงกับประชาคมอาเซียน ซึ่งมีประชากรรวมกันมากกว่า 625 ล้านคน รวมถึงอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขงซึ่งกำลังเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็วเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมถึงตอนใต้ของจีนด้วย นอกจากนี้ สภาพแวดล้อมในการทำธุรกิจในไทยและสถานการณ์ต่างๆ ก็มีความสงบเรียบร้อยและเป็นมิตรต่อธุรกิจต่างชาติด้วย
เอกอัครราชทูตไทยยังได้ระบุถึงปัจจัยบวกที่จะขยายอุปสงค์ต่อสินค้าและวัตถุดิบในไทย และสร้างโอกาสให้กับสินค้าเช็ก อาทิ การลงทุนจำนวน 4 พันล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐที่รัฐบาลวางแผนจะนำไปพัฒนาระบบโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของไทย และกระแสการเติบโตของสังคมเมืองในประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน เป็นต้น
ภายในงาน นายยาน เล็มบาส ผู้แทน CzechTrade ประจำประเทศไทยได้ให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ทางเศรษฐกิจของไทยและสาขาธุรกิจที่มีศักยภาพสำหรับวิสาหกิจของเช็กด้วยเช่นกัน
