Thailand in Focus :: Thailand Expects 350 Billion Baht Of Investment Applications

Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) is still confident of receiving 350 billion baht of investment applications this year although it received less than half of that in the January-September period.
In the January-September period, the BOI received 155 billion baht worth of investment applications in 758 projects, its Secretary-General, Hiranya Sujinai told reporters following a BOI meeting chaired by Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha here today.
Hiranya said the approvals in the nine-month period, which included applications from last year, stood at 665 billion baht in 1,769 projects.
"I believe the investment operations will be much more next year based on discussions with the private sector and increased confidence to do business. It's a good signal," she said.Credit and view full story at Bernama
