The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to announce that on 28 July 2015, the Thai Government launched the “Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (METV)” scheme in addition to the existing sixty days tourist visa. METV will come into effect from 13 November 2015 and a sixty days tourist visa with “double” and “three entries” will no longer be available. The validity of METV is six months and the duration of stay is up to sixty days per visit. The application fee of METV is 4,000 CZK. Applicants can apply for METV at any Royal Thai Embassies, Consulates-General and Honorary Consulates. The following documents must be submitted with a completed visa application form for consideration:

1. Passport with validity of not less than six months;
2. Bank Statement with a minimum balance of 160,000 CZK for the last six months;
3. Employment letter;
4. Roundtrip flight reservation (at least for the first entry);
5. Hotel reservation confirmation (at least for the first entry);
6. Residence permit or proof of permanent residency (for applicants who are not nationals of the Czech Republic).

Please also be advised that the Consular Officers reserve the rights to request for additional documents as deemed necessary.
