On 9 June, 2019, between 16.00-18.00 hours, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Charoentoh, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand together with the Czech-Thai Association organized Muaythai activities on the rooftop of the Lucerna building in the center of Prague. At the event, “Kru Din", Wittawat Ka-Som of Lanna Fighting Muay Thai Academy, Chiangmai Thep Bodint Witthaya School and Mr. Vijit Khiad-Song or Payak-Samui, the current Thai Flight Champion demonstrated “Wai kru” ceremony which shows traditional way to pay respect to their masters and various Muaythai techniques. In addition, Lanna Thai massage, several Thai dishes and paintings from Thai artists were also available on the rooftop. There were more than 400 people participating, including Czech and foreign visitors.
