On 4 June 2019, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Charoentoh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, presided over to the opening ceremony of the new Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in the Czech Republic.  On this occassion, Ambassador Charoentoh also welcomed H.E. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, together with H.E. Mr. Tomáš Petríček, Czech Foreign Minister and H.E. Mr. Martin Tlapa, Deputy Foreign Minister, and ASEAN Ambassadors in the Czech Republic.
