On 22 and 29 May 2019 H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, made an introductory calls on Mr. Ondrej Kolar, Mayor of Prague 6 and Mgr. Pavel Cizinsky, Mayor of Prague 1, respectively. Both the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague and the Residence of the Thai Ambassador to the Czech Republic are located in Prague 6, while the Embassy has organized a number of cultural events and activities in Prague 1. During the meeting with Mayor of Prague 6, the possibilities for jointly organizing some activities, along with the strengthening of a closer cultural cooperation were discussed. While a meeting with Mayor of Prague 1, included the issues of trying to cooperate with each other to maintain positive image of Thailand and the Czech Republic and also a plan to provide updated information through designated thai authorities for Thai tourists visiting the Czech Republic.
