On 24 September 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague jointly hosted the reception on the occasion of the commemoration of the 51st anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines at the Italian Institute in Prague, together with other three ASEAN Embassies in the Czech Republic, i.e. Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Embassy of Malaysia and Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Ambassadors and Chargé d'affaires of all five ASEAN Embassies, on behalf of the ASEAN Committee in Prague, cordially welcomed friends of ASEAN from diplomatic corps, representatives from government and business sectors in the Czech Republic of around 80 people at the reception.
