On 11 September 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prague Office, and the Thai Trade Office in Prague hosted a Bangkok’s Best Street Food: EAT THAI IN PRAGUE Garden Party at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence. The event was held to promote Thai street food which was recognized by the CNN as Thai dishes that you can’t live without. The guests were from various fields such as diplomats, politicians, government officials, businessmen, CEOs, travel agencies, media, writer, famous Czech chef and local bloggers. At the event, the Embassy presented authentic Thai dishes, traditional desserts, herbal drinks including Thai fresh coconut juices. A Thai traditional puppet show from Sakorn Thai Puppet together with paper umbrella painting and wellness corner were also there to entertain all the guests. Before the end of the evening, lucky draw took place to giving away prizes and the Royal Thai Embassy also prepared "Lookchub", a traditional Thai dessert made from yellow bean paste, as souvenirs for all the guests.
