The Second Session of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation (JEC) was held in Bangkok on 23 August 2017.  The meeting which was co-chaired by Mr. Veerasak Futrakul, Deputy Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Mr. Vladimír Bärtl, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic ended successfully. The Royal Thai Embassy is honored to be part of this meeting by leading both public and private sectors from the Czech Republic to Thailand such as Mr. Jaroslav Hanak, the President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and other high profile Czech businessmen.  The main agenda of this 2^nd JEC meeting is to identify new areas of cooperation and to diversify trade and investment between the two countries.  Moreover, during the trip, the delegation also visited the Confederation of Thai Industry and the Office of the Board of Investment of Thailand.
