On 27 July 2017, His Excellency Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic presided over the Buddhist merit making ceremony at the Thai Temple in Prague (Wat Dhammakittiwong) to pay tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and make merit for Her Majesty the Queen and in celebration of the auspicious occasion of the 65th birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Rama X on 28 July 2017. The ceremony was also participated by the diplomats and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, and Thai community residing in Prague and other cities in the Czech Republic.
