J.E. pan Narong Sasitorn, Velvyslanec Thajska v České republice,  z pozice předsedy skupiny asijských ambasadorů, uspořádal dne 11. července 2017 ve svojí rezidenci oběd pro velvyslance zemí Asie s Ministrem zahraničních věcí České republiky PhDr. Lubomírem Zaorálkem jako čestným hostem. Během oběda si obě strany  vyměnily v diskusi pohledy na českou politiku a Evropskou Unii.

Asijští velvyslanci se jednou měsíčně střídají v pořádání oběda či večeře, na které jsou zváni jako čestní hosté vysoce postavení úředníci, 
s cílem vyměňovat si informace a názory na široké spektrum problematiky oboustranných zájmů. 

On 11 July 2017, H.E. Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Asian Ambassadors in the Czech Republic hosted the luncheon for the Asian Ambassadors with H.E. Mr. Lubomir Zaoralek, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, as guest of honour at his Residence.  During the luncheon, both sides discussed and exchanged views on Czech politics and European Union.

Asian Ambassadors take turn to host the monthly luncheon or dinner and extend invitation to Czech high-level official to attend the function as guest of honour with a view to exchanging information and opinions on a wide-ranging issues of mutual interest.
