Invitation to participate in cultural activities of the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague

Velvyslanectví Thajského království, ve spolupráci s Ministerstvem kultury Thajska, Národním muzeem České republiky - Náprstkovým muzeem asijských, afrických a amerických kultur, Vás co nejsrdečněji zvou na následující kulturní události:

1. Fotografická výstava " Proměny Siamu" na nádvoří Náprstkova muzea. Na vysvětlenou, Siam je původní název Thajska. Výstava bude k vidění na nádvoří muzea od června do září 2017.

2. Přednáška, nazvaná " Nejstarší fotografické portréty a krajiny Siamu (1855-1935) ", kterou bude mít paní Savitri Suwansathit, poradkyně Ministra kultury Thajska, se uskuteční v pátek, 9. června 2017 v 18:00 ve 3. patře Náprstkova muzea. Bude se bude týkat fotografií prezentovaných na výstavě " Proměny Siamu " a bude v angličtině s překladem do češtiny.

3. Velvyslanectví Thajského království se zúčastní Pražské Muzejní noci v sobotu 10. června 2017 v Náprstkově muzeu. V době mezi 19:00 - 22:00 hodinou se na podiu na nádvoří muzea odehraje sedm thajských kulturních představení a od 18:00 budou ke koupi také thajská jídla a čerstvá kokosová šťáva.

The Royal Thai Embassy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Thailand, Naprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures and National Museum of the Czech Republic, would like to cordially invite you to the following cultural events:

1. Photo exhibition "Siam inTransition" at the courtyard of the Naprstek Museum. Siam is the old name of Thailand, and the exhibition will be shown at the courtyard until from June to September 2017.

2. A special talk on "Early Photographic Portraiture and Landscape in Siam (from 1855 - 1935)" by Mrs. Savitri Suwansathit, Adviser to the Minister of Culture of Thailand on Friday, 9 June 2017 at 18.00 hours at the auditorium on the third floor of the Naprstek Museum. This is a talk about the pictures of the photo exhibition "Siam in Transition". The talk will be delivered in English with Czech translation.

3. The Royal Thai Embassy will participate in the Prague Museum Night on Saturday, 10 June 2017 at the Naprstek Museum. There will be seven Thai cultural performances between 19.00 and 22.00 hours on stage at the courtyard of the Museum. Thai food and fresh coconut water will also be sold there from 18.00 hours.
