Dne 11. dubna 2017 přijal Jeho Excelence pan Narong Sasitorn, Velvyslanec Thajska v České republice,  studenty z Juniorní diplomatické iniciativy (JDI), Fakulty mezinárodních vztahů (FMV), Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze (VŠE), při jejich návštěvě Velvyslanectví Thajského království v Praze.

Velvyslanec poskytl studentům informace k různým tématům, například je seznámil s povinnostmi thajských diplomatů a velvyslanectví, informoval je o ekonomickém potenciálu Thajska, ekonomickém modelu Thajsko 4.0, Thajsko-českých vztazích a  ASEANU, stejně jako o regionálních záležitostech Jihovýchodní Asie.

Tato aktivita je součástí veřejné diplomacie Velvyslanectví Thajského království směrem k české veřejnosti, obzvláště k mladé generaci, tak aby o Thajsku, ASEANU a regionu Jihovýchodní Asie získala větší znalosti a porozumění.

Students of the Junior Diplomat Initiative, University of Economics in Prague, visited the Royal Thai Embassy 

On 11 April 2017, His Excellency Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, received students from the Junior Diplomat Initative (JDI), Faculty of International Relations (FMV), University of Economics in Prague (VSE), on their visit to the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague. 

The Ambassador provided the students with briefing on a number of topics, for instance duties and responsibilities of Thai diplomats and embassy, Thailand's economic potentials, Thailand 4.0 policy, Thai - Czech relations, ASEAN, as well as regional issues in Southeast Asia. 

This activity is a part of the Royal Thai Embassy's public diplomacy with a view to outreaching to the Czech public, especially the younger generation, so that they could gain better knowledge and understanding about Thailand, ASEAN and the Southeast Asian region.
