On 10 April 2017, His Excellency Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, together with His Excellency Mr. Marian Jurečka, Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, and Mr. Jiří Uhlíř, Director of Fairgrounds Flora Olomouc, a.s., presided over a press conference on the ‘Flora Olomouc’ exhibition at the Ministry of Agriculture.
The highlight of the ‘Flora Olomouc’ to be held this spring, from 20 to 23 April 2017, is the cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy and the Office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in Prague to showcase Thai flowers, especially orchids, in the Thai Exhibition Area and the 'Thai Pavilion.' Moreover, the Embassy and the TAT Office are also planning to feature the exhibition with the best of Thai cuisine and Thai cultural performances. We will bring the charms of ‘Thailand’ to Olomouc!
The ‘Flora Olomouc’ is one of the biggest international horticultural exhibitions in Europe. With its long history, the first exhibition was held in 1958. Currently, the ‘Flora Olomouc’ is organized annually and attracts more than 30,000 visitors.

Dne 10. dubna 2017 předsedal Jeho Excelence pan Narong Sasitorn, Velvyslanec Thajska v České republice, společně s panem Marianem Jurečkou, Ministrem zemědělství České republiky a panem Jiřím Uhlířem, ředitelem Výstaviště Flora Olomouc, a.s., tiskové konferenci, která se konala na Ministerstvu zemědělství k výstavě 'Flora Olomouc'.
