On 13 March 2017, H.E. Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, delivered a remarks at the Territorial Workshop on Thailand, organized by the International Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic at the Myslbek Palace in Prague.  The Thai Ambassador commended the long standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries and introduced the economic development of Thailand. Moreover, the topic about the opportunities for the Czech businesses in Thailand was also specially brought to the attention of the participants from the Czech private sectors, for instance, in these following fields, machinery, automotive, infrasturcture and transportation projects, waste management technology and nanotechnology. 

At the workshop, H.E. Mr. Marek Libricky, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Thailand, Mr. Karel Machotka, Executive Director of the ICC Czech Republic, Mr. Petr Kulovany, Deputy Director of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and Mr. Jan Horacek, Credit Manager of the Czech Export Bank also shared their positive views about the economic situation in Thailand and the business cooperation between Thailand and the Czech Republic.
