On 15 February 2017, H.E. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to theCzech Republic, visited the Region of Karlovy Vary.  He called on Mrs. Jana Vildumetzova, Governor of the Karlovy Vary Region, and Mr. Petr Kyulhanek, Lord Mayor of the City of Karlovy Vary, during which both sides discussed the long-standing bilateral relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic, and economic opportunities in Thailand for Czech businesses.  The Czech side expressed interest in the sister schools project between Thai and Czech schools, which will strengthen and add value to the existing ties between the two countries.
