On 10 March 2017, H.E. Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, paid an official visit to the City of Hradec Kralove in the Hradec Kralove Region, as part of the Royal Thai Embassy’s work to promote visibility of Thailand in the Czech Republic.

H.E. the Ambassador called on Mr. Zdenek Fink, Mayor of Hradec Kralove, during which both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic.  They also discussed about possibilities to promote direct contacts between Thai businesses and Czech businesses in the Hradec Kralove Region, in the fields of automotive, rubber and electronics.

There have been a growing number of foreign tourists from Asia visiting the region including from Thailand.
