On 22 November 2016, His Excellency Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, and Mrs. Chantana Sasitorn, attended the opening of the art exhibition “Synchronicity2” at the Villa P651 in Prague, which is sponsored by the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague.

The exhibition displays the works of art by the two artists, Ms. Nurten Yuksel and Ms. Christine Gaughran, whose inspiration for creating the artworks was derived from their time at the Sam Rit Residency in Nakorn Ratchasima Province in northeastern Thailand in 2014.

His Excellency Mr. Narong Sasitorn delivered a short remark expressing thanks to the two artists for their artworks which show the simplicity of life in local communities in Thailand, in contrast to modern lifestyle in Bangkok and other urban towns.  Such simple lifestyle is also in line with the Royal advice of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej which guided the Thai people to live with nature, not at the expense of nature.

The “Synchronicity2” exhibition runs between 22 – 29 November 2016 between 12.00 and 18.00 hours at the Villa P651, Pevnostni 651/8, Prague 6.
