On 17 September 2016, H.E. Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand presided over a meeting with the Thai Ambassadors in the Visegrad 4 countries, comprising of H.E. Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador to the Czech Republic, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador to Poland, H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Ambassador to Slovakia and H.E. Mrs. Kanthong Unakul, Ambassador to Hungary, and Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Mr. Songphol Sukchan, Director General of European Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, to discuss about the promotional work of Thai tourism in the Visegrad 4 countries. H.E. Madam Minister visited the Czech Republic from 16 to 17 September to attend the activities of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Office in Prague.
On the same day, H.E. Madam Minister also met with the local press and representatives from Czech operators in the tourism sector at the Residence of Thai Ambassador to listen to their views about the Thai tourism and the opportunities for Thai tourism in the Czech Republic.
