On 27 July 2016, Mr. Jak Sangchai, Charge d' Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague, presided over the well-wishing ceremony for His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn on the auspicious occasion of His Royal Highness' birthday anniversary on 28 July 2016 at the Thai Temple Prague (Wat Dhammakittiwong).  Approximately 30 officials, local staff, employees and student trainees of the Embassy and Team Thailand offices comprising of the Office of Commercial Affairs (Thai Trade Center) and the Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prague Office, as well as members of the Thai community in the Czech Republic took part in the ceremony.  The participants jointly expressed well wishes and made merits for His Royal Highness by preparing meal for the Buddhist monks residing at the Thai Temple Prague. 

In organising this ceremony, the Royal Thai Embassy received full support from members of the Thai community in the Czech Republic, and worked together in unity with a view to demonstrating utmost loyalty to the Monarchy which has long been a core pillar of Thailand and the Thai society. 

เมื่อวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2559 นายจักก์ แสงชัย อุปทูต สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงปราก ได้เป็นประธานในพิธีถวายพระพรชัยมงคลสมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราชฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร เนื่องในโอกาสวันคล้ายวันพระราชสมภพ วันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2559 ที่วัดไทยกรุงปราก (วัดธรรมกิตติวงศ์) กรุงปราก สาธารณรัฐเช็ก โดยมีข้าราชการ
เจ้าหน้าที่ท้องถิ่น ลูกจ้างและนักศึกษาฝึกงานของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และทีมประเทศไทย ประกอบด้วยสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงปราก และสำนักงานการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงาน
กรุงปราก และชุมชนไทยในสาธารณรัฐเช็ก เข้าร่วมประมาณ 30 คน โดยทั้งหมดได้ร่วมกันถวายพระพรชัยมงคลสมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราชฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร และถวายภัตตาหารเพลพระสงฆ์ประจำวัดไทยกรุงปราก เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศล
