The Royal Thai Embassy in the Czech Republic, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Thai Airways International Public Company Limited and the Thai Trade Center in Prague, participated in the biggest international food festival in the Czech Republic ‘BOSCH FRESH FESTIVAL’ by showcasing ‘Amazing Thailand Pavilion’.  The Festival took place from 25 to 26 June 2016 at Park Vítkov in Prague.

‘Amazing Thailand Pavilion’ was among the most popular spots for more than 15,000 visitors who came to enjoy the Festival.  It proudly presented authentic Thai cuisine from the Residence of Thai Ambassador, MAMA noodles and rice products, Thai fresh coconut, dancing Thai tea and roti from Krabi, paper umbrella painting demonstration from Chiang Mai and information about Thai tourist attractions.

Moreover, the Tourism Authority of Thailand also invited Mr. Chumpol Jaengprai, the famous Iron Chef, to demonstrate how to cook Thai dishes on the main stage and at the workshop stage of the Festival.  Many Czechs attached high attention to his cooking shows.  Two lucky winners also won the grand prizes, i.e. a round trip ticket from Prague to Bangkok, sponsored by Thai Airways International and a complimentary accommodation voucher for staying in Bangkok and Krabi, sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The participation of the ‘Amazing Thailand Pavilion’ not only showed our readiness to interact with the local people in order to strengthen friendship between Thailand and the Czech Republic but also created a great opportunity to promote the visibility of Thailand.  Our Czech friends were able to appreciate the sense of Thainess in various ways through this event, including visitors of the Festival and audiences who enjoyed the TV programme about this Festival on Prima TV, the local popular television channel.  

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงปรากนำเสนอซุ้ม ‘Amazing Thailand’ ในงาน Bosch Fresh Festival

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงปรากได้ร่วมกับการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย การบินไทย และสำนักงานการค้าต่างประเทศจัดซุ้ม ‘Amazing Thailand’ เข้าร่วมในงานเทศกาลอาหารนานาชาติ Bosch Fresh Festival ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่กรุงปรากเมื่อวันที่ 25-26 มิถุนายน 2559 โดยงานดังกล่าวเป็นงานเทศกาลอาหารนานาชาติที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในสาธารณรัฐเช็ก

ซุ้ม ‘Amazing Thailand’ ได้รับความสนใจเป็นอย่างมากจากผู้มาเข้าร่วมงานจำนวนกว่า 15,000 คน และเป็นหนึ่งในซุ้มที่มีคนแวะมาเยี่ยมชมมากที่สุด ภายในซุ้ม นำเสนอทั้งอาหารไทยรสเยี่ยมจากทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ผลิตภัณฑ์บะหมี่กึ่งสำเร็จรูปและเส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวตราสินค้ามาม่า มะพร้าวไทย ชาชัก และโรตีจากจังหวัดกระบี่ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการสาธิตการวาดร่มกระดาษจากจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และการให้ข้อมูลด้านการท่องเที่ยวของไทยด้วย

ไม่เพียงเท่านั้น การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยยังได้เชิญนายชุมพล แจ้งไพร เชฟกระทะเหล็กมาร่วมสาธิตการทำอาหารไทยบนเวทีใหญ่ของงาน และสอนการทำอาหารไทย ซึ่งมีผู้สนใจมาชมและเรียนเป็นจำนวนมาก และในจำนวนนั้น ยังมีผู้โชคดีที่ได้รับรางวัลใหญ่เป็นบัตรโดยสารเครื่องบินไป-กลับเส้นทางกรุงปราก-กรุงเทพฯ ซึ่งการบินไทยได้ให้การสนับสนุน และรางวัลที่พักที่กรุงเทพฯ และจังหวัดกระบี่ ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนโดยการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยด้วย

การเข้าร่วมงานของไทยในครั้งนี้ นอกจากจะได้สร้างสีสันให้กับงานเทศกาลอาหารที่กรุงปรากและเป็นการแสดงความพร้อมของไทยในการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมของท้องถิ่นเพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างกันแล้ว ยังเป็นโอกาสที่ดีอย่างยิ่งในการประชาสัมพันธ์ประเทศไทยในแง่มุมที่หลากหลาย ทำให้ชาวเช็กได้รู้จักประเทศไทยมากขึ้น ทั้งชาวเช็กที่ได้มาสัมผัสความเป็นไทยที่งานโดยตรง และที่ได้รับชมภาพกิจกรรมผ่านทางสถานีโทรทัศน์ Prima TV ซึ่งได้มาถ่ายทำรายการและสัมภาษณ์เอกอัครราชทูตที่ซุ้ม ‘Amazing Thailand’ ภายในงานด้วย
