On 17 October 2012, H.E. Vitavas Srivihok presented the Letter of Credence appointing him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, to H.E. Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, at the Prague Castle. After the presentation, Ambassador Srivihok accompanied by his spouse, Ms. Ratsamee Yaviseth, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. the President along with H.E. Tomas Dub, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and H.E. Ladislav Mravec, Director of Political Department, Office of the President and H.E. Jindrich Forejt, Director of Protocol Department, Office of the President.  Several bilateral issues were discussed to promote and strengthen relations between the two countries. Other highlights include the inspection of the Presidential Standard and Guard of Honour at the First Courtyard of  the Prague Castle.
