Thai Ambassador welcomed Czech student group.

On April 4, 2024, Mr. Suwat Kaewsook, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, welcomed a group of 7 Czech students from various academic institutions at the Royal Thai Embassy.

On this occasion, the Ambassador shared examples from his experience as a career diplomat who not only represents and protects the interests of his country but also promotes friendly relations with the host country. The Ambassador also expressed his intention to strengthen the good relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic, which has continued smoothly until this year of the 50th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

After that, Ms. Wanlaya Wattanasopon, Counsellor, gave a briefing on the political and economic dimensions between the two countries, followed by Ms. Srisurath Sukavarodom, Counsellor, who introduced the distinctive characteristics of Thai culture and the projects of the Embassy in order to raise awareness of Thai culture in the Czech Republic.

The student group was also welcomed by some Thai snacks and Thai herbal drinks.
