On 20 February 2023, H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, together with Ms. Thanawan Kasee, the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prague Office, met with Mr. Ing. Petr Kulhánek, Governor of the Karlovy Vary Region. Both sides had a fruitful discussion on the potential collaboration in the sphere of cinema and tourism, as Karlovy Vary holds an international film festival as well as being a well-known tourist destination for its spa treatments. Her Excellency Ambassador also took this occasion to explore the possibilities of collaborating with Karlovy Vary to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic next year.
