Thailand is actively taking part in the EXPO Milano 2015 by setting up Thailand Pavilion Exhibition, focussing on the concept of ‘’Sustainably Raising the Planet”.   Therefore, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand has selected 4 sub-themes to be presented in the Exhibition, i.e. -          Taste: Thai ways, Thai flavours, -          Traditions: the root of qualities, -          Timely innovations: serving up a dream, and -          Sustainability: the equilibrium of life   Thailand Pavilion Exhibition will not only show our determination and potential to be ‘Kitchen of the World’ in the term of being a reliable resource of food with high quality, but also to praise the great vision of His Majesty the King of Thailand, who is also praised as the “King of Agriculture”, for the various concepts in hundreds of royal projects and the renowned “Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy” which is a great guideline on how to live in a sustainable and balanced life.   The design concept of Thailand Pavilion’s architecture, which is always the most attractive part of the Exhibition, will play a crucial role to convey the main theme and the ‘Thai identity’ through the use of modern technological innovation which will reflect the core of the exhibition under the concept of ‘Nourishing and Delighting the World”.   And in the EXPO Milano 2015, the Pavilion of Thailand will be constructed in the shape of ‘Ngob’—the traditional farmer’s hat, which is also the symbol of food producer and the folk wisdom which has been passed through generations and is still widely used in the present time. It is also a unique innovation which cannot be seen elsewhere in the world.  We truly hope that our Pavilion will contribute to the EXPO Milano 2015 as one of the most interesting Pavilions.   Currently, the preparatory work is being arranged eagerly, both in Thailand and in Italy, in order to get ready for the upcoming EXPO Milano in 2015. Thajsko  se  aktivně účastní veletrhu   EXPO Milano 2015 se thajským pavilonem zaměřeným na koncept udržitelného rozvoje naší planety. Ministerstvo zemědělství Thajska vybralo 4 témata, která budou na veletrhu prezentována: -          Thajské  chutě , -          Tradice - základ kvality, -          Moderní inovace – servírování budoucnosti -          Udržitelnost -  život v rovnováze Thajský pavilon  si klade za cíl ukázat, že Thajsko má   odhodlání a potenciál, aby bylo vnímáno jako  “Kuchyně světa“  z důvodů vysoké kvality pokrmů z prvotřídních surovin. Zároveň pavilon vzdává hold skvělým myšlenkám Jeho Veličenstva thajského krále Pchúmipchona Adundéta, který je též vnímán jako „Král zemědělství“ a který přišel s celou řadou inovativních nápadů, které se promítly do stovek královských projektů, včetně známé filozofie udržitelnosti ekonomiky, která  může sloužit jako skvělý návod  pro  ekonomickou udržitelnost a celkovou vyrovnanost našeho života. Designový koncept thajského pavilonu, který vždy bývá jeden z nejatraktivnějších, hraje důležitou roli, neboť  by měl reflektovat jak thajskou identitu tak i  hlavní téma  “Výživa a potěšení pro svět“   prostřednictvím moderních inovačních technologií. Thajský pavilo pro EXPO Milano 2015 bude  mít tvar jako  tzv. ngob, což je tradiční farmářský klobouk, který  je symbolem   lidové moudrosti, která je dosud  předávána z generace na generaci.
