On 10 August 2021, H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Klara Dostalova, Minister of Regional Development of the Czech Republic on the occasion of the assumption of duty in the Czech Republic.

Both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation in tourism, namely medical tourism, adventure tourism, and sport tourism. In addition, prospective cooperation in sustainable development, disaster management and development of smart cities were also raised during the courtesy call.
