On 3 March 2021, H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic assigned Ms. Kakanang Amranand, Counsellor, the Royal Thai Embassy, to attend the virtual lecture on global and regional perspectives on the COVID-19 pandemic by Dr. Sedan Matic, World Health Organisation (WHO) Representative and Head of Country Office to the Czech Republic and Dr Dorit Nitzan, Regional Emergency Director at the WHO Regional Office in Europe.

In this regard, the Royal Thai Embassy would like to express our appreciation to WHO, the Canadian Embassy and the U.S. Embassy in the Czech Republic for organising this very useful lecture.
