On 23 January 2020, H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic and the Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Prague (ACP), chaired the 17th ACP Meeting and luncheon at the Thai Residence. The Meeting was attended by ASEAN ambassadors, namely, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Chargé d'affaire of Vietnam and officials from the ASEAN embassies. On this occasion, the Meeting discussed development in the Czech Republic and ASEAN in 2019, bilateral relations between Czech Republic and ASEAN Member States, including the ACP activities done in later half of 2019 and the future activities to be done in 2020 especially in the first half of 2020, such as ASEAN Bowling, ASEAN Day, and participation of ACP at the school in Prague. 

 

Ambassador Chareontoh also handed over the ACP chairmanship to Indonesian ambassador to the Czech Republic. The Indonesian ambassador will assume the chairmanship of the ACP from January-June 2020.
