On 17 January 2020 H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, welcomed Thai undergraduate students, studying at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Tourism, Vysoka Skola Obchodni V Praze (VSO) in Prague. On this occasion, the Thai students presented the facebook page “Thai Students in Czech Republic” to the Ambassador and announced the official opening of this page, which the Ambassador praised the initiatives and encouraged the students to organize more social gatherings or joint activities among themselves. During the meeting, the Ambassador gave advice and shared experience to the freshmen about their academic and daily life self-adjustment. In addition, the Ambassador also reiterated the readiness to support the students’ activities to promote “Thainess” in their respective instiutions. Thai light-break, which was prepared by the Thai Residence, was arranged for the students at the end of the meeting.
