On 15 October 2026, H.E. Mr. Pichit Boonsud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, met with Czech students during their Thai language class at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Prague. The class was conducted by Thai instructor, Dr. Pattarawan Youyen.

On this occasion, the students introduced themselves, expressed views on learning Thai and their reasons for choosing to study the language while the Ambassador enthusiastically engaged with them in a warm and friendly atmosphere. He suggested that the students get to know Thailand further, including by talking with Thai people and finding opportunities to visit Thailand. Also present during the Ambassador’s visit was Mr. Worawich Chetmongkhonnawat, President of the Thai Students’ Association of Czechia (TSAC). In the meantime, the Embassy brought Khanom Mo Kang, a traditional Thai custard dessert, for the students to taste, offering them an opportunity to have a glimpse of Thai dessert and learn of Thai culture through its cuisine.
