On 10 October 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague, in collaboration with the Thai Students’ Association in Czechia (TSAC), organised an activity ‘Orientation Day 2026’ at the Embassy’s premises to be a platform for networking and sharing of basic and necessary information on studying and living in the Czech Republic to all new Thai students, consisting of AFS exchange high school students and undergraduate to doctoral students.

The event started with the welcoming remarks by H.E. Mr. Pichit Boonsud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, who offered his thoughts on living abroad and extended best wishes to all students to be successful at studying while encouraging them to keep contact with each other. Then, the Embassy’s representative as well as those of the Thai Trade Center, Prague and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prague office provided information on their respective responsibilities whereas TSAC and the guest speakers offered useful information and shared experiences from real life, even introducing and teaching basic Czech language, to all new students who joined this event. The Embassy also hosted a casual buffet luncheon for all participants in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Embassy wishes to invite all new Thai students to the Czech Republic to follow news and information from the Embassy and TSAC regularly and to consider keeping the latter informed of the latest contact details so as to be able to communicate and get assistance from the Embassy.
