ในโอกาสที่ประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมงาน MSV International Fair 2014 ซึ่งเป็นงานแสดงสินค้าวิศวกรรมเครื่องจักรกลที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในยุโรปกลางและยุโรปตะวันออก ที่จัดขึ้นที่เมือง Brno สาธารณรัฐเช็ก ในฐานะ 'ประเทศแขกรับเชิญพิเศษ' (special guest country) ของปีนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงปราก ได้เข้าร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพิธีเปิดงานอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อวันที่ 29 กันยายน 2557 ด้วยการจัดมุมอาหารไทยเป็นมุมพิเศษของงานด้วย โดยนำเสนอเมนูที่เป็นที่นิยมในหมู่ชาวเช็ก ได้แก่ มัสมั่นน่องไก่ ทอดมันปลากราย ต้มข่าไก่ และตะโก้ สร้างทั้งสีสัน ความประทับใจ และทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้อิ่มอร่อยกันทั่วหน้า รวมไปถึงแขกระดับวีไอพีอย่างนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีของสาธารณรัฐเช็ก รวมทั้งภาคเอกชนชั้นนำที่มาเข้าร่วมงานแสดงสินค้าจำนวนหลายร้อยคนในครั้งนี้ด้วย  

      Since Thailand participates in the MSV International Fair 2014, which is the biggest international engineering fair in the Central and Eastern Europe, as the ‘Special Guest Country’ of this year, the Royal Thai Embassy profoundly presented the special corner of Thai cuisine at the reception of the official opening ceremony of MSV 2014 on 29 September 2014.  At the event, the Thai corner widely impressed the VIP participants, including the Prime Minister and Ministers of the Czech Republic, as well as hundreds of exhibitors and businessmen who attended the MSV 2014, with beautiful decoration and delicious Thai menus, i.e. Massaman curry with chicken and Jasmine rice, Thai fish cake, Tom Kha Kai (coconut soup with chicken) and Thai pudding with coconut topping, creating another great opportunity to promote Thai cuisine to our Czech and foreign friends.  

      V letošním roce je Thajsko speciálním hostem Mezinárodního strojírenského veletrhu 2014. Velvyslanectví Thajského království v Praze při příležitosti slavnostního zahájení veletrhu dne 29. září 2014 s hrdostí připravilo koutek thajské kuchyně. Thajská kuchyně okouzlila jak VIP účastníky veletrhu – předsedu vlády a ministry České republiky, tak i stovky návštěvníků veletrhu a podnikatele, kteří se veletrh zúčastnili. Krásné dekorace a vynikající thajské pokrmy- např. massaman kari s kuřecím masem a jasmínovou rýží, rybí placičky, kokosová polévka tom kha kai a thajský pudink s kokosovým přelivem byly velkým lákadlem a příležitostí jak propagovat thajskou kuchyni v České republice.
