The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) helped to promote the Global Wellness Day Thailand 2015, an event dedicated to health and good living, which was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre on 13 June, 2015.
“Thailand is the ideal place to celebrate Global Wellness Day. For generations, the kingdom has been a centre of health as seen by the medical inscriptions at Wat Pho that promote the benefits of massage, to modern health and spa retreats that attract international visitors. We encourage everyone to come and discover how elements of ancient “Thainess” can improve their health.”
Global Wellness Day is an international, non-profit event established in 2012 by Turkish Spa expert Belgin Aksoy. The annual convention helps people to learn about mental and physical health, exercise, nutrition and mindfulness via workshops, talks and activities held all over the world on the same day.
